JSHM has a National Accreditation with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University (BAOU), the seventh Open University in India with headquarters in Ahmedabad. Established in 1994, the University is a member of The Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and is recognized by the University Grants Commission. The University offers 38 programmes with an enrolment of more than 1, 00,000 students. JSHM students would acquire a BBA degree in Hospitality Management from BAOU. JSHM is also duly recognized by the Employment and Training Department, Government of Gujarat. JSHM students have the option to pursue BBA Degree in conjunction with the Cèsar Ritz Higher Diploma.

BA in International Hospitality Administration , is a 3 year cost effective program offered through IGNOU. This full time Degree course also incorporates courses of American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
